Dans la s\u00e9rie Il y a tout juste 10 ans<\/a><\/em><\/strong> –\u00a0Archive Qu\u00e9bec, 20 juillet 2009.<\/p>\n

Et voici une h\u00e9ro\u00efque journ\u00e9e qui s’ach\u00e8ve ! Pas une goutte de pluie du lever au coucher du soleil, incroyable mais vrai. Pour f\u00eater \u00e7a je me suis empress\u00e9e, sit\u00f4t le petit d\u00e9jeuner aval\u00e9 – ah oui, \u00e0 ce sujet, c’est tr\u00e8s agr\u00e9able de cuisiner, mais je n’en finis plus de manger ce\u00a0krazuki<\/span>\u00a0\u00e0 la rhubarbe, il va vraiment falloir que je sympathise davantage avec les voisins pour leur refiler une juste part de mes cr\u00e9ations – bref, une fois remplie de\u00a0kraspov<\/span>\u00a0\u00e0 la rhubarbe, j’ai\u00a0tra\u00een\u00e9<\/span>\u00a0sur la galerie la chaise ber\u00e7ante pour profiter du soleil.<\/p>\n

\"\"Mais si, vous avez bien vu un film o\u00f9 un vieil am\u00e9ricain se balance devant sa maison, non ? Voil\u00e0, je le savais bien. Donc bien s\u00fbr, en tant\u00a0qu’immigrante<\/span>\u00a0(on ne dit pas envahisseur, \u00e7a fait pr\u00e9tentieux\u00a0parait-il<\/span>), je fais les efforts\u00a0n\u00e9cessaires<\/span>\u00a0pour m’int\u00e9grer.<\/p>\n

En Am\u00e9rique, fais comme les Am\u00e9ricains, disait C\u00e9sar (ou quelqu’un d’autre), et il ne faut pas trop de talent d’observation pour se rendre compte que la base de tout est d’avoir un appartement, si possible en haut d’un escalier vicieux – dans le style \u00a8et si on profitait de la courbe pour escamoter presque compl\u00e8tement la marche ?\u00a8 – avec une petite galerie couverte – mais pas trop, pour avoir quand\u00a0m\u00eame<\/span>\u00a0de quoi pelleter deux ou trois tonnes de neige en hiver, histoire de \u00a8rester en sant\u00e9\u00a8. Deuxi\u00e8me condition \u00e9galement tr\u00e8s importante, disposer sur la susdite galerie une ou plusieurs chaises \u00e0 bascule, ou banc ber\u00e7ant, ou si\u00e8ge hamac (plus en vogue quand\u00a0m\u00eame<\/span>\u00a0dans le Sud il semblerait) ou tout autre objet bizarre pouvant se rapprocher du concept de s’asseoir dehors en bougeant sans effort.
\n\u00c0 l’ombre, \u00e7a va de soi, puisque la galerie prot\u00e8ge tr\u00e8s bien du soleil.<\/p>\n

C’est pour \u00e7a que si je veux en profiter un peu, il vaut mieux sortir\u00a0t\u00f4t<\/span>\u00a0quand le soleil est encore rasant. Bien sur \u00e0 cette heure-l\u00e0 on se rapproche vaillamment de 15 degr\u00e9s (celsius<\/span>, tout de m\u00eame<\/span>, on n’est pas au\u00a0p\u00f4le<\/span>\u00a0Nord non plus), mais bon, c’est jour de\u00a0f\u00eate<\/span>\u00a0ou\u00a0\u00e7a<\/span>\u00a0ne l’est pas.<\/p>\n

A vrai dire, j’aurais bien\u00a0f\u00eat\u00e9<\/span>\u00a0ce soleil triomphant par un petit jogging matinal, mais l’escalier fourbe dont je parlais plus\u00a0t\u00f4t<\/span>\u00a0s’est charg\u00e9 de mettre ma cheville hors d’\u00e9tat de courir. Soupir.<\/p>\n

Alors dans un grand \u00e9lan optimiste, aujourd’hui j’ai cuisin\u00e9 de l’aiglefin \u00e0 la mexicaine – ah oui, une petite infid\u00e9lit\u00e9 \u00e0 Tante Marie, et au passage un hommage \u00e0 mon ancien colocataire –\u00a0rafra\u00eechissant<\/span>\u00a0au possible et d\u00e9licieux.<\/p>\n

Si avec tout cela le soleil ne revient pas demain …<\/p>\n
