Voyage dans un monde sans humains…<\/h2>\n

Il n’y a pas d’autre voiture sur la route dans le petit matin. Il n’y a pas d’avion dans le ciel. Dans un virage, un mouvement: l’animal se retourne vers moi et me regarde longuement avant de s’enfuir d’un bond. Une hermine, souple et curieuse.<\/p>\n

\"\"Au bout de la route, il n’y a personne et le village para\u00eet d\u00e9sert. J’abandonne la voiture, endosse le sac et prends deux b\u00e2tons \u00e0 la main. Pas un bruit, seul un souffle de vent agite parfois quelques feuilles.<\/p>\n

Je descends dans le canyon en suivant le petit sentier caillouteux. Il est envahi par les herbes folles. On dirait que nul pas n’est venu s’y poser depuis des semaines, voire des mois. D\u00e9j\u00e0, les chemins commencent \u00e0 s’estomper, c’est davantage un souvenir qui me guide qu’un rep\u00e8re visuel.<\/p>\n

Le ruisseau est gonfl\u00e9 d’eau, se rue sur les amas de pierres arrondies dans un vacarme que rien ne vient concurrencer. Pour le traverser, les gu\u00e9s ne servent plus \u00e0 rien, il faut s’enfoncer, parfois jusqu’\u00e0 mi-cuisses, et s’aider des b\u00e2tons pour \u00e9viter de glisser. Passer et repasser d’une rive \u00e0 l’autre, dans un calme inhabituel. Rien ne bouge, pas d’autres signes de vie que quelques oiseaux dans les airs, de petits poissons dans les eaux, certains insectes qui chantent d\u00e9j\u00e0.<\/p>\n

… et sans bruits<\/h2>\n

Au bas de la longue mont\u00e9e, j’ote les sandales mouill\u00e9es, enfile un pantalon et chausse les chaussures de montagne. Les premi\u00e8res gouttes viennent s’\u00e9craser au sol. Je remonte la capuche de la veste et me mets en route. Arriv\u00e9e au col, je souffle un instant, profitant d’une courte \u00e9claircie. Puis la pluie se remet \u00e0 tomber, redoublant d’intensit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

\"\"Au dolmen, le ciel est enfin vid\u00e9, mais la vue est bouch\u00e9e. Au fil des heures, le temps vire au beau. Pas \u00e2me qui vive, les humains ne sont pas l\u00e0. Je suis seule sur ce plateau, depuis longtemps d\u00e9sert\u00e9 par ses habitants. Le premier village en ruines reste silencieux, tout comme le second. Entre les deux, le chemin a disparu, envahi par les orties, les ronces, les murs effondr\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Je croise une longue couleuvre, puis un troupeau de ch\u00e8vres sauvages, dont les boucs arborent des cornes d’une longueur incroyable. L’odeur de lait entoure le troupeau qui se retire prudemment \u00e0 mon approche, mais sans panique. Depuis quand n’ont-ils pas vu le moindre humain? Ils en ont oubli\u00e9 la peur.<\/p>\n

\"\"Au terme d’une longue journ\u00e9e de marche, lorsque je reprends la voiture, je n’ai rencontr\u00e9 personne de mon esp\u00e8ce.<\/p>\n

La sierra de Guara, comme sortie d’un livre d’anticipation climatique<\/h2>\n

\"soleilIl y a un an paraissait mon premier livre, Soleil Gris<\/a>, dans lequel je d\u00e9crivais ces lieux dans un futur victime du changement climatique. Deux des personnages arpentaient, seuls, ces d\u00e9cors splendides du nord de l’Espagne, que j’imaginais redevenus sauvages. C’est un roman d’anticipation climatique, une fiction improbable. Quoique…<\/p>\n

\"\"Un an apr\u00e8s, je marche dans leurs traces, seule, parmi la nature qui reprend ses droits. Je pense \u00e0 Leo et \u00e0 Val, je regarde avec leurs yeux ce monde \u00e9trange qui m’entoure. Ils ne sont pas \u00e9tonn\u00e9s. Pourquoi le seraient-ils? Ils n’ont jamais rien connu d’autre, apr\u00e8s tout. Mais moi, qui fr\u00e9quente ce secteur depuis plus de deux d\u00e9cades, jamais je n’avais pu \u00e9couter cette absence d’humains, ni contempler un ciel vide de moteurs tra\u00e7ant leurs lignes blanches au-dessus de ma t\u00eate.<\/p>\n
